The time has come for a redesign. My content-less, visitor-free website stayed the same since 2000. Not that I’m expecting much more visitors, it just needed it. Or I did 🙂
Design principles: KISS. I need a website that can easily go without redesign for the next 10 years, so no reflections, exploding boxes, and all that fashion stuff. Black and white, simple as before.

Interestingly, in a pet application, I am chasing all those effects that I don’t want on my website. Glass, metal, reflections… Go figure… For example, the Metal look and feel in Java is hated mostly for the kind of minimality we admire in a web site.
